FAQ

What should I wear for my session?

Most importantly, wear something that feels like YOU and reflects how you want to show up professionally. Solid colors are best. Please avoid logos and small patterns as they vibrate on camera. Layers also work well, like throwing on a blazer or any shirt with texture, like linen, etc.

What's it like working with you?

My sessions are relaxed and natural. The goal is to capture your true personality, not stiff poses. The main thing is to just enjoy our time together, and I’ll guide you when needed.

How long will my mini session last?

Since these sessions are part of an event, we will be moving fairly quickly. We have allotted 5 minutes of shoot time per person.

What color will we be shooting on?

We will be shooting on a white studio backdrop, so I suggest wearing a solid color other than white so you don't blend into the backdrop.

How much do you retouch?

I keep retouching very natural and don’t alter hair, makeup, or body shape in post, so it’s best to arrive feeling polished and camera-ready.

How many images will I receive back?

Each headshot mini session includes 5 retouched images that are sized for web use. High resolution images (for print purposes) are available for an additional fee of $95/image.

How much do you retouch?

I color correct every image and edit everything in my own personal style, that said, I retouch very little in terms of altering how things look in camera. In other words, how you arrive is how it will photograph. Keep it natural and polished and arrive with hair and makeup ready.

How will I receive my images?

Everyone will receive their own personal viewing gallery with digital download. You can expect to receive your gallery within 10 business days from your session.
